Atomic US drivers - Mike Haynes (2WD Stock and Mod winners) and Eugene
Uyterlinde (Formula 1 winner) claim victories in Mini-z 10th
anniversary race in New York, USA. The event was held at NYRC
(www.nyrcsuperraceway.com) in New York City, USA on Dec. 12 - 13th,
2009. There were more than 40 drivers with five mains in 2WD. In 2WD
Stock and Mod our Atomic US driver - Mike Haynes defeated his closest
rivalry Johnny Themlis to capture both wins. Atomic's Formula 1 driver
Eugene Uyterlinde took the lead for most of the time in the 10 minute
race. The remaining category (AWD MA-010) was won by Maj Bantin who is
the owner of (www.majsrc.com) in New Jersey, USA. The handout motor for
MA-010 was Atomic Ball Bearing Stock (AR30) which proved to be the
favorite among AWD racers. The Atomic BB stock motor provides cool
operation and has excellent power band and top speed for the Kyosho
MA-010. The fastest lap time of the day was set by a AWD Mini-z with
this particular motor. Photo shows Eugene Uyterlinde on left and Mike Haynes on the Right.
